Spec Box

Please use the spec box available in this download for blads and dummies but do not resize or change the fonts.

Digital blads (jacket & spread/s)

Ensure design and text are final and sales approved and that picture rights are cleared.
Export InDesign document to PDF selecting the PRH_PDF_Digital PDF preset with both text and CMYK layers visible. (For spreads, click on the Spreads option in the PDF dialog box).
Place in the book’s ‘Sales Materials’ folder and let Pre-Production Producer know.

Printed blads (jacket & spread)

Jacket

• Ensure design and text are final and sales approved and that picture rights are cleared.

• Export InDesign document to PDF selecting the PRH_PDF_Jackets_Coated39 PDF preset.

▪ Place in the book’s ‘Sales Materials’ folder and let Pre-Production Producer know.

Spread

• Ensure design and text are final and sales approved and that picture rights are cleared.

• Export InDesign document to PDF selecting the appropriate PDF preset (coated PRH_PDF_CMYK_Coated39 or uncoated PRH_PDF_CMYK_Uncoated47) with both text and CMYK layers visible.

• Ensure when you have selected the correct preset that you check Spreads instead of Pages within the dialog box.

▪ Place in the book’s ‘Sales Materials’ folder and let Pre-Production Producer know.

Blad booklets (8pp)

• Ensure design and text are final and picture rights are cleared.

• Export InDesign document to PDF.

• Select the appropriate PDF preset (coated PRH_PDF_CMYK_Coated39 or uncoated PRH_PDF_CMYK_Uncoated47) with both text and CMYK layers visible.

▪ Place in the book’s ‘Sales Materials’ folder and let Pre-Production Producer know.
